It looks like a trip down south to 118 this year for antlered Muley’s. A good friend drew a tag too since we put in as a group draw. Antlered Whitetails are open so it should be a good trip.

I shot a Muley there in 2016 that grossed just over 180 so I’ve been looking forward to getting back there now for a while.

Nothing for me this year. Got drawn last year, and was successful with a nice mule deer.

Awesome man. We hunted Cadomin in Nov in 2010 when my wife drew. Pretty cool experience for sure.

Good luck again there man!

Dad drew a Wainwright antlered moose muzzleloader tag, he had a cow tag there a couple years back so we are looking forward to it.

Did they provide you with CWD information with your successful draw?

That is one of the zones that has a compulsory testing requirement and there are also rules about what you can bring back to BC.

A quarter of the province now has compulsory inspection for CWD. I submitted heads from 118 in 2016, the last time I hunted there. I haven’t seen any info sent out on the compulsory inspections other than what is printed in the regulations each year. As for bringing anything back to B.C., it’s a non-issue for me since we moved to Alberta 7 years ago.

Have hunted 118. Saw a monster of a whitetail (who ran onto property we didn't have permission for....) and some decent muley bucks. Good luck down there. Fingers crossed any game taken, comes back negative!

I got drawn for Mule deer in 160. I've never hunted deer with a rifle, so this will be new to me. I've only bow hunted deer. Hopefully my nephew in Alberta finds me a cranker.

Good luck Roy! Hope you find what you’re looking for. I imagine there’s a chance we’ll meet up at some point if your out and about the first week in November.

RiverBC you will be hunting a decent zone. With the incredible crops we have had this year there is healthy antler growth. Expect to see Antelope , Elk and the odd Moose there as well. Good luck and enjoy your hunt.
