There is a meat cutter in the Beaver Valley called Rodear Meats. they are usually busy with beef and pork but may take a moose or two. try them at 250-243-2340

Last year they would'nt take 2 deers we had. They said they do not do game.

There's a butcher in Horsefly. Germans/swiss farmer/butcher fellow. Nice vacuum sealed packages. A little pricey but good work.

There's also one near 150 mile house 15 km south of Williams Lake and about 1:15 hour from Likely. It is on the main asphalt road from highway 97 towards Likely. Cheaper than the guy in Likely, but not vacuum sealed.

There's a place out at Horsefly, I can't remember the name but we've had deer done by them and they're very good. The family's name is Laffer. Not quite Likely, but yeah...and there's also 150 Meats, as mentioned

There is a small meat cutter in Likely, had a moose down there last year, but word is he only cuts strictly for locals.

he'll cut for out of towners, just dont expect to hang it there and not get him to cut it....... few years ago, a buddy and myself had draws out there. we got one moose first day and wanted to keep hunting without driving all the way back to the puddle. he wouldnt hang it unless he was going to do the cutting. and his cooler was empty.... lol. so.... we we ended up running it in to my regular cutter anyways.

The fellow in Horsefly is Franz Laffer. He does a very nice job.

150 Mile Meats was not that good but has just been bought by new owners this year so they are an unknown this season.

Rodear meats does not cut wild game. There is a meat cutter in likely his name is dennis langstaff, 250 790-2361. some years he will only cut for people he knows depending on available help as cutting meat is just a side business for him. will not just hang. I suggest you give him a call before you leave. He cuts my game every year and does an excellent job.150 mile meats is under new ownership and I dont know anything about them.:-D
