I don't think banning the archery hunt for Moose makes a lot of sense. Im sure there are just as many or more that are shot during the rifle season, wounded and not recovered. Most out there hunting Moose with a bow are just as or more experienced, skilled and ethical than the average rifle hunter... the youth season is also important to get the next generation interested in hunting and giving them opportunity to be successful is important. Some of your points on predator hunting may be valid but I don't think its reasonable to make it mandatory as many don't have the time or opportunity to hunt that much...

totally agreed on the youth hunt. I just dont think they need there own tags. It seams like just another money grab for the province.. But i guess it does ad numbers into the system wich is actually a good thing.. something i never thought of.

I agree with some of your points others I don't. You are on the right path though I think we all know things have to change if hunting is going to continue.

There is some good ideas in a few parts of what you said.

A lot of it, I definitely dis agree with.

Long Range hunting and Bow hunting come down to each and every individual. Do I agree people should ensure they are effective with both before ever attempting either? Yes. But I can guarantee that I personally am more effective up to 500 or 600 yards, than a lot are at 100 yards. Just speaking on personal experience.

Other than possibly on LEH, I don't think many "dink rams" are being killed. I think everyone can agree, when you go into a sheep hunt, you have more of an expectation to come home with none than one. Harvesting an 8 year old ram on the last day of the hunt is still a huge success to a lot of people and very well deserved, whether you agree with it or not.

Getting rid of the youth hunt does nothing positive for us. At a time when hunter recruitment is arguably at an all time low, the youth hunt and the ability for them to apply for their own LEH and have their own tag, brings kids into it more.

Also, hunting in Canada isn't actually our right(unless you're FN). Its our privilege, one that we don't want to lose.

That's just my opinion, but I will agree, predator management is key to helping ungulates thrive(which directly affects our ability to hunt) and sending letters and making the government aware of who we are, is very important.

Where does it say it's unlawful to discharge a firearm in the dark?

Can you back that up with a link?

How to save BC wildlife written by a Socialist, quick summary, we need to adopt policies to basically use forceful control of other people’s lives, property and recreation.

Great!!

Hunting in the dark is illegal, but I'm not so sure discharging a firearm is.
Dispatching a critter in a trap on your trap line is definitely one exception and you can even use light assist. Haha.

Nope, critter has to be physically restrained in a trap before you can legally shoot it at night.

I guess you could slap a #2 Duke on a paw, post mortem.
