Hi All,

Had my first successful LEH draw for a bull moose in 7-23 zone A. If anyone has any info on the area that would be very helpful as I know nothing of the area.

Thanks,

Find a dirt road and look around. That's the best advice.

3 posts since October of last year doesn't show much commitment to your fellow hunter. Should have put in some time posting/sharing before asking for this type of help, I think you will be getting a ribbing here! good luck it's a good area to hunt.
and a big PS. watch for grizzly lots in the area be damn careful !!!

I believe the only road into there is kennedy siding just past the mckenzie junction

Thanks for the info. Sorry I don't have much to share as I am pretty much a rookie.

I’ve hunted from Firth Lake north and west of the Parsnip River. There are moose in there, but its fairly thick country. You’ll be on the east side of the Parsnip, still good moose habitat, just make sure you have time to cover the area. As others have said, lots of bears around there too. Good luck.

Hunt the rut, cow call, and don’t give up. Takes moose a bit to find you! Be prepared for a Grizz encounter, because despite all you have heard about grizz numbers, they are healthy!! Good hunting to you! Moosin
