Shore/Pier Fishing Around Uclulet/Tofino

Hi,

Heading out that way next month, and want to pack a rod and crab trap in case there's some time to drop a line. Any good easy shore access spots to cast and drop some crab traps? Any decent trout fishing too?

Fish the surf beaches for perch during the flood. Lots of fun and action on a light spinning rod. A bit of limpet meat on a hook with a weight rolled in the surf is all you need.

Tonquin beach area get's salmon in close at times.
