Does anyone have any wholesale places in BC that sell material that would be used in making tents? Looking for screen mesh by the roll, and some water repellant type material in rolls.

Kelowna would be a big bonus if possible.

Cheers

Good post. If I may piggyback a bit; I wonder who might supply stovepipe jacks?

I got an old 9x12 last year with no stovepipe hole.

A lot of people in the gear making world order from Ripstop by the Roll (https://ripstopbytheroll.com/) out of the States. Its hard to find outdoor fabric suppliers in Canada that have anywhere near decent prices.

I've seen stovejack material for sale on the Lite Outdoors page:

Call Frank at Northwest Shelters in Surrey for fabric and premade stove jack donuts.

I got all my silnylon, dyneema and cordura for the tipi tent I'm making from ripstop by the roll (https://ripstopbytheroll.com/). In the states, but good prices and customer service. Also second lite outdoors for the stove jack; they are based in Alberta I think. http://bearpawwd.com (http://www.bearpawwd.com/), also in the states I think, but lots of good stuff too. Finally, don't neglect your local fabric store, sometimes they have surprising stuff there.
