Most RCMP officers attending CO roadblocks will ask you for it ;-)

We were asked if we had our PAL's and licenses going through a seatbelt check.....the cases were visible in the back. We never actually had to produce them he just asked if we "had" them :D

Yes You may be asked to produce a PAL/POL in BC if you are in possession of a Firearm.

Its in your best interest, unless you want to be treated like a murderer, keep your pal and regi on ya

Usually in hunting season, they just want to see your hunting licence. never been asked for PAL or reg certs. Been through 3 different road blocks that I can remember.

went thru a RCMP road block in the canyon a couple years ago, they asked for my drivers license, and where i had been. My rifle cases were visible over my shoulder on the back seat and i saw the officer look right at them but was never asked for my pal.I ran into a CO last year he asked to see my license, and that was it.Having said that its not worth taking the risk of not having it or not carrying it.
