Hare/Rabbit Hunting Near Vancouver

Hi everyone,

itching to get out for a hare/rabbit hunt before the season ends; just a day trip or a one nighter to get outside.

Can anyone point to a fairly accessible place near Vancouver that I can get this done? I've heard Chilliwack but my honey pot is this road in Princeton.

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated!

East gate on the other side of manning park would be the closest I can think of. Won’t see much for rabbit till last 2hrs of light though

Can confirm East Gate is a practical goldmine for hare. Let me know when you go out, ill tag along!

I don't think there is any open season for snowshoe hare in Chilliwack / Hope area.

I have always wondered why.

It's MU 2-5 to 2-19 only
