No.

I'm content in describing Darrel Rowledge as Canada's leading advocate for research and Action into the issues of CWD.

He, along with Valerius Geist were both among the federally appointed policy advisors which took a position against allowing game farming in Canada, mainly on the concern of disease transmission to wildlife.

Darrel is likely the most knowledgeable Independent voice exposing the issues relating to CWD.
Undoubtedly, he has brought more awareness of this concern to the public, stakeholders and governments than anyone.

Just don't talk to him about Trump or Global Warming. ;)

Pretty sure our local food banks won't accept any game meat what-so-ever. Thought that was the norm throughout Canada cause our starving citizens are too good for lowly game meat ;)

This will be a non issue in the next 10 years. I saw an announcement about it. They found the cause and are developing a vaccine. They will have field tests for hunters soon, so you can test your own meat. Once that is done, they are developing a vaccine to give to captive deer, and then one for wild populations. Pretty awesome news! It would be awesome news.

Unfortunately this line of research seems to be that of a Mad Scientist.
At the moment, there is Very little reason to believe the bacteria theory is correct and especially any timeline of a possible cure.

It would be a terrible mistake to count on one researcher's marketing scheme actually paying off for anyone but the researcher.

A short easy read on why the bacteria theory is very unlikely to be correct.
