I bugled this elk in 5x5 to 40 yards and we waited jer was at full draw the whole time and finally the elk turned to give him a good broadside shot and unfortunately there was a branch the size of a friggen shoelace stickin out and the arrow deflected off the branch and missed the elk but hey we were dissapointed but that is what it is all about thats why they call it hnting and not killing lol it was a good day we had 9 different bulls going and this is the one that cam in the closest good day for sure
