We are going to be hunting an LEH area that closely borders another management unit. Some members of our group do not have moose tags for our specific area but we are within 30 km of an area that has Immatures open. There appears to be a lot of good area around where the two MU's border.

How does one go about where finding where the exact borders are located?

The best source I've found is the BC Back country map books.

phone the conservation office in the MU you are hunting they will give you a rough idea, if they are not defined by a road, river ect. they usally go by the high point of land. good luck

If you can get the ' B.C. Recreational Atlas ' that is the same one that the CO's have on the walls in their offices. The 'Backroad Mapbook' is a privately published book and may not always show the true boundaries.

You'll find that the top of land, a watershed or river or hwy are your most common borders of MU's as ripper said. I like to layout my own maps to show the boundaries but an finding that the backroad books are getting really good to use especially the binder version.
