Guys are out where its safe. I've heard reports from Cambell and I was at Tunkwa last weekend and guys had huts out at the day use. Just be cautious of course.

I hate swimming with my winter togs on. Once was enough when I once upon a time was a kid. Weather will have to get much colder for me.

I was gonna say with the mild weather so far this year I doubt any lakes will be frozen up enough... I guess there are some crazy hardcore ice fishers though...

No matter how much I try ice fishing trout and salmon out west is something I fail at aha. Looks like I need a graph. Fish finger. Under water camera and a robot to go chase the fish down for me..

Lakes should all be iced up now and the fishin hot, been a warm week in the loops but now its -10 or bellow outside the city. -16 at 1200m is gunna make for a fresh morning on the ice, makes ya feel alive. Fishing as usual around loops has been great on most lakes, fish have been biting all day long in a few lakes as well.

Any suggestions ? I've had no problem figuring out hunting out here but this through the ice fishing is the bane of my existence haha.

Cheers, and tight lines !

We went to tunkwa on Friday and it was slow just out from the campground. Then walloper today which was crazy like always just little fish though. Tommorow either tunkwa again or red. Any suggestions on where to try at red? Also what are people using? I like a worm and corn with a flasher about a foot up.

Going to be interesting to see how long that fishery last before all the " larger" fish are caught and then it just becomes another lake with 12-14" trout in it .

I think the size of the trout is irrelevant, the question is, is Corbett Lake illegally blocking BC residents access to public property? The presence of those fishermen is the best way to ask IMO.

Fished a lake close to bridge 24th and 25th. My uncle got a 4.5lb rainbow. I went back out 1st to 4th and my damn uncle got a 5 lb bow! I got a few but nothing over 2.5lbs. Tried bridge lake for kok's for a few hours with no bites. Managed to get some burbot on la Roche. Damn those things taste good! Anyone fish bridge for kokanne? I could use some pointers on finding the fish.

Lots of good bites going on now around Kamloops. The fish are on the feed all over the place. Got into some Kokanee today. Thought I would post a pic of what a school of Kokanee looks like on my Humminbird. If you're not ice fishing with a graph, you should be. Especially in deep water.
