Trail cam question

When do you put up your trail cams and how long do you leave them out? Do you move them around during the season or leave them on one place?

I set mine up in the spring because I'm out there shed hunting anyway. Then take them down December/Jan after hunting season. Sometimes in my spot I will move the camera around it it isn't getting much action or if I find a more travelled game trail near by. Sometimes I'll even move a camera to double up on an area where I've captured a decent buck. Don't forget to put down a salt lick or tarsal gland to attract deer or make them stop in front of your camera! Also depending on camera settings and amount of traffic a camera can easily last 6 months or more on engerizer batteries.
