Anyone see the article in the BC Outdoors Hunting mag about camo? The article says deer see different than humans and some of the cheaper camo has UV brighteners in it and you will be lit up like a neon sign to game. Interesting article. You can check your camo by putting it under a black light, If it glows you will glow to game, if not you are OK

I saw that in an ad in Bowhunters magazine. It said that certain camo made in China , I think, shows blue so you should wash it in special stuff.

all camo will "glow" blue if you wash it in laundry soap/liquid as it all has uv brighteners in it.get ,for your camo stuff only, a solvent based cleaner like sportwash, made to clean without the glow of regular stuff. check your camo with a uv light to see what i mean. if it glows ,animals will see you as will all birds.:roll:

I read that in a book about when I was 14, and since have washed my hunting clothes in Hunter Specialties Non UV Non Scented wash
