Well i went out tonite, hike down to the river and had a bull coming hard. i spotted him at about 125 yards and gave him a glass and damn just five. So i take out the decoy set it up and continue to call him on video(some nice footage I will try to get it on here) after about 5 minutes of talking and having a mild conversation I notice a little tit for 6 point on his left side, still in doubt I let him go at 41 yards(bow hunting). When I get back to the truck and look at the video up close I see that he is definetly six. What a bummer:roll:. At least I know where I will be tommorow morning:lol:.

well that elk is going to be in a freezer, just not mine. an old fellow from Langley was pretty distrot about spending all his time for holidays and the money to come up here when i was talking to him this morning. so i told him to come with me, i knew just where the perfect meat elk was at. after we got down the steep grade to the river we set up and I gave a call and wham, he answered right away. he came to 90 yards and a perfect broadside shot dropped theh little fellow in his tracks. i have never seen a 66 year old man jump that high. we got a quad down there through a secret trail i cut to go fishing and he was back at his camp just in time for happy hour. pics to come.
