Sorry my bad. I meant 3-16. Anyone hunt this area much? Buddy got a mulie doe draw but how do you access this area? Seems like the entire area is steep rocky terrain full of cliffs and rugged canyons..is it even huntable? Maybe that's why he got a draw there...lol. Any helpful info would be greatly appreciated.

Take the Silver Star Rd (Vernon) up to the address 7292 ask for Bill . He has the key to open the Gate.... there are a tone of Muley behind of his ranch.
Good Luck.

8-16 is fictional. No LEH zone 8-16 and no MU 8-16. NBC was joking I am sure as it does not exist, and I am sure was clued into by the comment...?

Nothing wrong with the terrain in 3-16 but I don’t like the area for late season because the deer move out of the spots I hunt. September/October area in my opinion and if you know the pockets it’s a good meat buck area because the deer are usually smaller on average

There is a reason for the give me odds on that doe draw bad time of year. Myself/family/friends have filled tags on bucks with fairly consistent success but not one doe draw lol. We stopped hunting there late season long ago
