I haven't personally hunted the area but rest assured there is game there. I dont think anywhere in BC doesn't hold game :P Thats why we live in the best province..

If you going to be just in 3-31, try heading just north of Clinton about 15 minutes up to Chasm Provincial Park. From there, head East down the 3400 road, which will take you to the Bonaparte region. Plenty of good country out there with lots of mulies.
Good luck & good good shooting.

you should be able to get one there, Thats about the time they start their migration. Look for places where people have been cutting firewood the deer like eating the lichen from the fallen trees and their turds will be almost black in color, When their turds are green then they are eating in alfalfa fields. They seem to like the sound of a chainsaw. Some big deer up there.

I have been on a bunch of trips to clinton 3-31 and 3-30. There is alot of mullies from what I have seen so far. We havent gone too far into the back bush but from the deer we have seen there is a good crop. I'll let you know after next weekend ;)

If anybody else has been in the clinton area has anyone had any luck with some bigger game??(moose)

You can't go wrong with most areas around Clinton. Late October can be a pain in the rear the place fills up with hunters especially on the Thanksgiving weekend. I would second the Chasm-Bonaparte area or if you really like to hike you can climb the Limestones ( mountain behind town) Less access and good quality deer.
