Speaking hypothetically of course; if I was to hunt 3-29, should I have a Whitetail tag in my wallet?

Possible yes!
Typically expected, nope!
Once saw a 2 pt MD and a 2 pt WT wandering around side by side all day.
Seen 3 WT's and 1 MD doe bedded together as well once.

For the price of a deer tag, why not? I buy an elk tag every season even thuogh there's next to 0 chance of getting one where I usually hunt, 3-4-8. I look at it as a contribution
to a worthy cause.

I have shot a few bucks out of there over the years so I would say yes

If you buy a tag, you wont see them, if you dont buy a tag, you will see them everywhere

You should have a tag in your pocket for everything that you would shoot if given the opportunity, they can happen anywhere.

If cougar tags weren't so friggin expensive I'd still be buying them too.

Saw a forkhorn whitetail running with two mule deer just across Kamloops Lake two seasons ago. Had both tags in my pocket, but was too busy staring through my binos. Kind of like when you bump into somebody you know, but can't figure out who you're talking to until much later.
