Considering the Alberta Government allowed domestic goats to graze oil and gas lease sites in the Bighorn Sheep range North of the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta this past summer what do you think the chances are of another major wipeout of Sheep will occur, it would likely extend into the East Kootenays.
I was just watching this YouTube "Circle of Life" by the WildSheep Foundation, I tried getting an explanation from the Government of Alberta of how this grazing was allowed to occur last Month but still no reply, maybe someone with better connections on here could get some answers or better yet get those goats off those mountains for good.

Do you have information on where these domestic sheep were grazed? Proximity to wild sheep? mike.wssbc@gmail.com. Thanks

Did you mean domestic sheep when you said goats? Do the goats effect the wild sheep too?

Apparently goats are every bit as bad. Maybe worse.

I don’t think it is conclusive other than for MOVI and domestic sheep. Research continues with goats and camelids- still best to error on the safe side.
