Tips for first season hunting bighorn sheep GOS

This is my first season sheep hunting. Any tips or suggestions would be great! Thanks guys.

Know how to judge a legal full curl ram. If at first you dont think its legal, its probably not. Lots of guys will watch the ram for hours and slowly grow horn and convince them selves its a legal ram.

Not a sheep hunter but from what I have heard velcro gloves and gum boots are mandatory lol

Sheep hunting is about the hunt, not the kill.

If you need to look at a ram for longer than a few seconds to determine legality please let him walk. Take some pics of him and show your buddies.

Don't be afraid to explore a bit and look for some ground that may be overlooked by others. Bighorns are timber animals in a lot of places.
