Yes its open as usual, but total road closure for off road vehicles, I was just there for 4 days not much going on just yet, roads were horribly greasy due to all the rain so be careful.

Can’t use ORV for hunting this year.
Can only drive on designated roads. https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2018FLNR0122-000925

AND, do not drive on any of last years Fire Perimeter Roads....they are out of bounds!, even with your truck!

It’s pretty dead up there compared to years past, must have pushed the game due to fires

One other note regarding Loon Lake, respect the private ranch road out the east end of the lake. Keep it to 30kph, give the livestock right of way, and no hunting between the 5km stretch between the two yellow gates. The gates were closed last year for 3 days or so during Oct. to draw attention to abuse. Someone shot and gutted a deer on the ranch property. Other infractions were not hunting related. Lets keep the gates open. Same logic applies throughout B.C.
