Just Curious Has any one ever used a CB on a Quad? , Im thinking about Just using the Power from my Power Plug to the CB , and then mounting the Antenna to the rack , But I know for Auto CB Radios the antenna need to connected to a Negative Chasis. So Im Curious to see if the rack should be alright to mount the antenna (The radio will be in a Water Proof Enclosure)

We mount VHF radios on our quads in the oil patch and they work fine. Hook to power, ground radio and antenna to the frame.

CB's are from 1972........it's 2007 !

Get a cheap pair of 59 dollar walkie talkies they will outperform your CB setup anyday and fit in your Pocket to boot:wink:

I never seen those walky talkies out perform a Tuned k40 Whip with a good set up ,
