Well last wednsday headed out for elk an mabee a deer.During pre season scouting we had seen allot of elk and had our tree stands ready to go in the elk"zone" of the mountain. We where there for 4 days of hunting and although we did not get an elk this year it was the closest weve come. Every day I seen elk within 50 yards but the closest i had a shot at one was 45 so it was a no go. After passing up allot of whitetails i decided i dident wanna go home with nothing and took a doe from about a quarter inch from my tree(i coulda takin her with a cinder block:p) the arrow went into the top of the back through the goodey box and the deer ran 30 yards befour tumbling down a hill. All in all it was a good trip and i cant wait to get back out hunting.

If your wondering about the ducttape on the deer it was an "attempt" not to get the truck all bloody .
