I Was walking Into the coffee shop for some caffeine, and I dropped my toonie! Of course it just had to roll into the drain ..

Hopefully someone else had a more productive first day than me .. though just being out there is anything, man did some of my favorite early season hunting spots burn up bad though... It's a shame, here's to the mushrooms next year!

Figured we could all use a chuckle to cut the tension ^^

Hmmm sept 9 day before moose leh..just before Bridge lake on hwy 24..200 yards fr8om the hwy...47.....50 " bull moose standing in the afternoon breeze....bet he is gone before next day..lol..
Found 5 mule deer bucks. .one a 4 point decent body hopefully before weekend.
Good opening 2 bucks down..lmao..

Well, this thread is finally honest!

Two bucks actually down in my group now.
One from my first time hunter girlfriend and another from my new to hunting hunting partner.

Am just waiting on permissions to post photos !
Took them through the whole process in its entirety all the way to butchering grinding and wrapping !

Good on ya. Awesome way to get newbies into the sport and show them they can get it done themselves from shot to wrap.

Very good news. Also glad to hear they were involved right to the cut and wrap stage. Its the best way
