private/crown land layer for hunt buddy app

For anyone using Hunt Buddy's mapping package to find private/crown land boundaries, here's a map source URL that's working for me showing private ownership, unknown ownership, crown ownership all, and provincial crown ownership layers from the Integrated Cadastral Fabric.

Enabling offline storage seems to help reduce the number of tiles marked not available.

The Hunt Buddy blog's URL for private/crown land layers has been throwing errors since DataBC shut down its old web map services.

I copy and pasted it in but it doesn’t seem to show up on my maps. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong....I’m not great at this mapping stuff

I'm finding the Google Earth private land layer is also not working. Can you add this link to Google Earth somehow?

I think I got it to work....it shows private land at my location.....not the location where I want to hunt...

BTW, Backroads Maps latest version 8 has many mistakes on private versus crown info. Beware

I think it's only iOS for now (according to their site).
Maybe android will come later...

If someone who go this to work with huntbuddy using ios it would be awesome to explain how. I too can't seem to figure this out. I have tried before to add layers to the maps and same difficulty. I think it is just that Im tech challenged. A quick how to on this would be so much appreciated

I don't think the overlay is supported on android yet. Someone please clarify if I'm wrong

Because of this I picked up iHunter BC which is essentially the same app. By default it has a map overlay showing rez land. You can pay an extra 10 bucks and get a map overlay that shows private, crown and other land. It's very useful. Especially the feature to cache maps for offline use.
Not a plug haha, just sharing my experiences with the app :P
