Does anyone know if the upper Lillooet fsr road is open? Had heard it was closed due to a landslide or something. Thanks in advance!

The gate seemed to be open last Sunday when I came down the Hurley.
It gets closed when the temps are cooking during summertime. That's when Mt Meager likes to shed a bit of dirt.

Summer alert: When temperatures exceed 30’C, the gate at 9km to restrict public access may be locked due to increased landslide risk, as per the Volcanic Landslide Risk Management (https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/farming-natural-resources-and-industry/natural-resource-use/resource-roads/local-road-safety-information/sea-to-sky/volcaniclandslideriskmanagement.pdf) report. Drivers returning to Pemberton must be prepared to overnight at 9km.
The turn off to the Hurley FSR, at 9km on the Lillooet River FSR, is not impacted by the gate for Lillooet River FSR.
Meager Creek FSR is closed indefinitely due to land slide; no vehicle or land access to the hot springs via Lillooet River FSR. See the Meager Creek slide (https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/farming-natural-resources-and-industry/natural-resource-use/resource-roads/local-road-safety-information/sea-to-sky/meager_slide_aug6_2010_area_base_map.pdf)
