ya i admit i was beeming,Mike was still half asleep i think not much sleep last night,altho he made a beauty neck shot at 70 yrds free hand. first of many muleys me thinks. thankx for swaping the pic over marc ,much appreciated.

This guy i didnt scout out ,we just kinda winged it into an area i never hunted before,bumped into him before we got to go for a hike into alpine,so the day was short over by eight this morning,spotted him from the truck in some old grwth fir above the rd,asked mike if he wanted to take him and the rest is history .we seen a couple 2 pts 20 min before we seen this one and he passed on both .

i went out hunting tonight . seen 2 does and heard another deer with them that bolted as soon as it seen us over the road. must have been a buck

As dads, I think we have more fun seeing our kids take an animal (especially their first buck) than even taking it ourselves.

Shes a good shooter John.buck was taken with a bsa 243 i got from JohnS Useing 100gr rem bullet.i think i might even use it a couple times this yr.
