Tattoga Moose

Has anyone hunted moose by boat anywhere between Tattoga and Kinaskan lakes?

I killed one on tatogga a few years ago. Lots of guys trying. Put in the extra effort and hike off the lake a bit. Called mine in to 7 yards. The guys in boats were having little success.

Sounds like fun. What is the river like between the lakes, shallow?

River is small & twisty, takes 5 miles to go 1. Usually a few sweepers here and there

Not super shallow, I've ran prop boats down into Kinaskan and back.

Exactly. Those flats hold moose but they don’t like to show themselves in the open too much.
