Hi,

After seeing the prices of guided hunts, I'm thinking that Drop Camps are the best option to get into the deep backcountry safely with some comforts and enough food. After looking at a lot of outfitter websites, I still have a lot of quetions. Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with Drop Camps?
What's the average cost of Drop Camps? Is it different for different species?

Thanks

Assuming you are a BC resident there are lots of options available to you for getting into the backcountry. If you use the search function on the forum you will find a wealth of information regarding the various transporter options. Fly in, jet boat, horseback... it's all there. If you are not a BC resident, but are Canadian then then you must have a hunter host, application required, certain species only. If you are not Canadian you must use an Outfitter for any hunting.
