So the moose draws me and 3 buddies were successful in getting are no good now. The powers to be have closed 5-13a b and c from Oct 15 to Nov 15 for moose hunting.:mad::mad:

where did u find this info. can only find last years closure of A and C

I think that was last year's information. I had a draw in 2017 and it was cancelled. I spoke with a person at the LEH office this morning and at this point he said the hunts are still on in those areas for 2018.

Looks to me like there is no GOS moose in reg 5 anymore. LEH should still be a go.

As far as I have heard the hunt is still happening, but after the FN meetings that are happening soon that could change.

We were successful for moose in 5-13a, but noticed that there is a vehicle restriction that was implemented in Sept, 2017 to limit access to the fire area. In a recent conversation with fish and wildlife in Williams Lake we were told that they had applied, to the powers to be, to have these restrictions removed. They also said that sometimes these things take a long time to remove. All we can do is hope this will happen before the season starts.
