On Saturday we had to say goodbye to our beloved lab Kaza. 24 months ago she was diagnose with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) and was given 6-8 months. Well she lasted 2 more years before finally heading off to where all dogs go to run and swim forever. She went wagging her tail and softly purring…...….

I put together a video of her life and all that she did for us.....

Have a toast for her

Cheers

Wont watch the video as we had to put our Retriever down in Dec at 14yrs old. Best companion and most dedicated animal. He smiled and wagged right to the end.
The wife framed his collar and a photo for Christmas and it near killed me to look at it.

first things first...........................I am so sorry for your loss.......losing a friend especially a fur friend like Kaza is hard

secondly....... thank you for the lovely tribute...... I now have to dry out my computer....... you had me bawling my eyes out because I know how close we are to having to go through this with our Huntergirl (I thought already 3 days ago she was leaving us)

I guess we can't really prepare for it, just remember the great life we had with them in it.....................

Kaza is shining her love upon you..................

Very sorry for your loss, its never easy losing a good friend like that. Kaza still lives on in your memories and will meet you on the happy hunting grounds when you arrive.

So hard to say good bye to your best friend. I always get another dog right away, takes some of the pain away. I will go out to the shop now and have atoast for your bestie.

Ken. I have outlived far to may hunting partners it is indeed never easy. You have our deepest sympathies. Remember that four us and our four legged hunting partners, there is no "Rainbow Bridge", only fields woods and marshes teaming with game where the season never closes.

Thanks All for the Kind Comments!!

It's been a week and today, I put her collar on my pack, loaded up a couple cams/salt and gear and hit the wet, cold, buggy bush. She was with me all the time and we got two cams set up.

Time will heal and we will slowly move on.

The support and understand is amazing!!
Thanks again!

Cheers
