Book Stone Ram

Was fortunate to find this ram while solo backpacking. I wasn't even really hunting but I couldn't resist! There were numerous sheep sightings as well as a very tense standoff with Mr. G-bear. :eek: Watched this ram for hours until he lay down. He was with 13 other rams so getting close was painfully slow. One shot, 257 yrds. I waited many years and hiked many hills to harvest a great ram like this so I was totally thrilled! The only bummer was not having my buddy there to shoot the larger one! Long side is 41 and change. Bases are 15 5/8. Carries great weight for a long way. Green score 173 5/8.
