Heading to Helmer tonight for a blackie

Good morning, I'm thinking about heading to Helmer from Kamloops tonight for a BB hunt. I've been out to other places around town a couple weekends with no success. Haven't been up to Helmer yet this year and was interested if anyone had any thoughts on the area for bears, etc. Not dead set on going there yet but thought it'd be a good option.

Head back towards the 5a around the power lines. I have seen some big bears back there. Good luck!

i have seen a few on the side of coq just before dark , i go down to van most each night ,, helmer will be a good bet imo
