I'm in the market for a smoker. I have a masterbuilt gas smoker but it always gets way too hot. I hear Bradley's are hit or miss. Do you guys have any recommendations?
Can you convert the masterbuilt to electric for better heat control? I built mine but i believe the heating element was for a masterbuilt electric conversion.

I've had a bradly digital for 5 years. Don't know how many hours of operation or how many pounds of pulled pork, ribs, sausage, jerky, pepperoni, brisket, smoked beans, smoked wings it's done.
I am just now starting to have a problem with the digital control unit. I am going to upgrade to the 6 rack

Have the Bradley Digital 6 rack
Only complaint I have is I didn't toss the old one and buy it sooner.... great little machine.

The Pitbarrel system is pretty awesome. It’s a cooker and smoker.

I bought the same one a few weeks ago. Tons of room, wifi capable so I can monitor and adjust cooking temp and monitor food temps. Haven't cooked a lot so far but I'm enjoying it.

Bradley works for me, I can control the temps. and just use one or two pucks for smoke. Less is more!

Bradley works great, there customer service was excellent too, i was having an issue with my smoke generator connections, they didn't mess around and sent me a new smoke generator and all new connectors..

Nothing wrong with a Bradley for fish and cheese. Better choices for other jobs I think .
