Crooked River north of PG?

Anyone spent much time on this river? I think it has a 10hp limit. A bit fast right now for that low power though. Thinking fishing and access in the fall to interesting spots. I live in PG.

I was in a canoe race from MacLoed lake down to the next one Kerry lk? I also did a little fishing from different spots along its length too but we're talking years ago here. Lots of course fish kind of a slow meandering swamp in the summer but different story now as you note. It looks as moosey as you can get but pretty thick. Its a cool little river. Bring your bug dope. lol

I’ve floated it many times and fishing is lousy. Thick brush on both sides and quite a few bear in that area so be careful.

Fished it a few times years ago, small rainbows, but mostly course fish. Nice float, not so sure is a motor would work as it’s quite shallow in places.
