LEH: Mountain Goat 3-16A

happy Friday!

has anyone had any luck harvesting a goat in this area? I was up there couple of years ago and the roads were really overgrown...but i did see goats :-o

As is the case for the majority of goat zones... if you are not willing to suffer you might not get one....

ummm....the question was "if any one has had any luck in the region"...i have no issue putting in the hard work...i have been there before but ran out of time on my last hunt.

Got one in there like 10 years ago very hard area to hunt but they get big in there.

Correct me if i am wrong, but i have a feeling the last thing someone will do is post on a forum on recent success for an leh hunt. It would be akin to posting about a public lake no one fishes with 10-15 lb rainbows.

It's not unknown that area holds goats. There is funded research about them in regards to hydro projects

Thats BS. The difference between a public lake no one fishes and a reg 3 goat LEH is that only about 5-10 people per year could hunt the reg 3 LEH spot even if thousands were given the info.

Sometimes people post and hope to get some pointers via PM too not just public posts in the thread.

I know I always PM people with tips on reg 3 goats when I see they've drawn an LEH for an area I'm familiar with.
