I've Killed lots in 31-32-33 closer to Fort St Johns. The country is full of Whitetails, can't say for sure about 7-28 cause I have never hunted their but for the price of the tag why not buy one.You just never know,Good luck

On thursday, saw a mulie buck and doe above Chuchi Lake, so they are there. Not sure about whitetials though. Take a tag for both as you never know. The deer are spreading out more and more around here.

Last fall saw three that I consider shooters (140"+) in the Northern end of 7.28. Saw about 15 mulies in the shooter catagory too (165"+). They are there, but they are few and far between. (I spend an inordinate amount of time in the shrubs due to being a hunting fanatic who chose a line of employment that allows me to be outside from dawn till dark in the fall 5 days a week at work, plus two days on the weekend.)
So yes, buy a tag.
