Hmm the pilot was Mr.Chris Moser who had? Owned Atlin Air. .GREAT pilot..

I thoroughly enjoyed the quality, they captured the essence exactly.
The BLASER is a fine rifle also.

great vid, incredible quality and some pretty insane eagle shots, especially that last bit as if flying side by side with it

This got me into looking at Blaser binos and scopes - the scopes are new this year and very expensive. Interesting they went with a design that eliminates rings.

it was a good video. [ A little hint of an extended advertisement but not crazy] great filming etc.... I tried looking up the product/ brand as I'm unfamiliar with it and found out that I need to learn to read German to view the US website.

Great video. Definitely violating the use of drones rule.

Great video. Definitely violating the use of drones rule.

Maybe had a filming permit, but correct, hunting expedition is going in, hunting, coming out.

Cool video though.

no exemption permits for filming while hunting in BC...video definitely violates the regs, kind of surprising to see a company like Blaser put their name behind it

Will there be charges against them laid?
(2) A person commits an offence if, while on a hunting or trapping expedition, the person(a) operates a drone,
(b) has a drone in his or her possession, charge or control

So "RackStar" let me get this right. It is OK to break the law if you film a "Cool video"

How do you know drones were used on the hunt? Its been my experience that when making a video, even one that is short in length, take several hours of footage and often from several different excursions. Perhaps the overhead footage was shot when he was simply on a hike....

Although the final shot that went straight up from the kill would be tough to explain

I'll bet that 95% of the video was taken after the hunt was over. I wonder if the aerial footage of the dead moose is illegal? I personally don't see an issue with someone using a drone to take aerial footage of a dead animal....technically the hunt is over as soon as the animal is dead.

It didn't just miraculously appear he must have had it in his possession.

how is anybody sure they did not use the drone to locate wildlife?...

almost every jurisdiction in NA has banned drones for hunting to promote fair chase...the GOABC supported the regulation update alongside the BCWF

a foreign film maker, hires an outfitter, guide is present on the trip, drone was used on the hunt....but no big deal because it's a cool film?...

How can anyone prove the drone was used before the moose was shot?
Anyone can get dressed in their hunting clothes then go for a hike and make it look like their hunting in order to get some video footage.

Take a hike dragging a road kill moose along, seriously? BRV has it down pat!

Ok HBC police. Law to ban drones came into effect in July 2016. When was the footage taken? The film is copyrighted in 2017 but that is only when the film was released. Thats not when it was filmed.

So does anyone know when it was actually filmed?????? before they call the CO's

Pretty sure the COs can find all that out if they investigate.

I dunno about that one. To each there own but that felt far too staged and over processed for my liking.

I hate music in hunting videos. It always seems so grating when in contrast to the actual event. Especially that head banging shite some guys like.
