good morning y'all

well the hubby and one of his buds left this morning to go sheep hunting - he says he will do his best to keep me informed about how things are going and I can keep y'all informed - I think he was more excited about trying out the new spotting scope than anything else - keep ur toes and fingers crossed for him as the last time he did this trip was when 9/11 happend and he was on the top of the hill - he said everything was so quiet - no birds no planes nothing - I hope this trip will give him new memories :)

Party at Ali's house!

Good luck to hubby, I too was hunting in the north the day after 9/11, and could not believe how dead quiet the world was...

LOL! Actually, we had to ride in to our spot in the dark due to the ATV restrictions from 5:30am to 10:00am, then sit and freeze our butts off waiting for daylight. The only sound was a faint tinkling from the brass monkey...

You mean to tell us you haven't let him go sheep hunting for 6 years??

I don't let him do anything - if he wants to go somewhere I don't stand in his way - he wants he gets - I don't argue with his decisions - he asks me out of respect for being his wife but I have never in my life said NO - he works hard and deserves the time he takes away from work to enjoy his activites - I eventually fit in to a trip now and then also - I have just as much enjoyment helping him get ready for a trip as he has taking the trip - so in 6 years if he wanted to do this trip it was his choice not to - this year he decided he wanted too go - must be the spotting scope I just got him that helped his decision - I guess u can say I DONT make his decisions but I DO push him to enjoy life:rolleyes::mrgreen::biggrin:

Thats too bad about the Sheep, although I can't wait to see the country side.

when Peter was hiking and he met up with a couple of other hunters, they got to talking and Peter had his HBC hat on that I got for him :), one of the other gentlemen recognize the hat and asked Pete who he was online, he said he isnt that his wife is the one on the site - they had a great conversation so I have a sneaking suspicion he may want me to set him up on here

I have most of the pics download on my computer as soon as I get his approval which ones I can post I will - plus his partner this trip will be bringing me his photo card as well to download

I wasn't told who recognized the hat but yes he is a member, Peter told him I was doing the recipe book and he knew about it.

Beautiful photos Ali..er Peter..lol

Ali have Peter FOLD the rear of the brown spotting scope cover..by the rear eyepiece FORWARD on both sides they velcro to the black velcro in the middle of the spotting scope making using the spotting scope and focussing/zooming much easier...as well as looking through the eyepiece...
