UGHHHHH WHY AM I SO DUMB!?!?!? Haha just went out to practice shootin and make sure my bow is all tuned up for the season opener.. First two arrows were great.. i was getting happy. Then I go and punch the release accidentally, which caught me by suprise. The arrow hit the target, but the bow lept from my hands - bounced on the ground (bottom cam hitting first!) and bent the crap out of my cam and axle!

I sure hope i can get this fixed before the season :( damn im mad!

why don't you have a wrist strap??? Call alpine, they are really good. Talk to Vince.

Maybe letting go of your bow was your mind telling you that you need a whole new set up to start off this season with. Sometimes your subconcience knows better. It could be new toy shopping time.:razz:

hah i had a wrist strap. it wasnt on the bow though lol. such a dumb thing to do!

Sounds like the alpine factory is going to try their best to save my hunting season! Luckily their factory is only 5 hours away... if i have to drive it there myself

What are they using for axles for it to bend that easily? Were you on ashphalt or concrete when this happened?

One positive that you know you have decent form by not holding onto your bow and tourqing the hell outta yer shot

the bow jumped about 18" from my hands and fell from a height of around 3.5 - 4 feet. landed on grass/gravel. The bow bounced about 3 feet back up in the air and i caught it haha.
