Opening Day for Black Bear

Who got out for a look ? My wife and I got out for some scouting, Elk, Deer and Turkeys. No sign of any Black Bears today, but I did see a small one last week while out spotting.

I will probably give it 5 weeks or so before I burn any gas looking for bears. Turkey however will be in trouble starting the 15th.

It's still winter in Cranny, it was 11c here yesterday and the lawn is greening up allready!

My cousin had to ski to our cabin in region 8. Don't think I will be getting out for a few more weeks.

Gas is too expensive right now..... another couple weeks on the island and I'll be out. Still lots of snow up high, green grass down low. Lots of rain in the coming weeks.

i was out this morning for a few hours, lots of people out camping and firewood cutting, tons of deer, one very small black bear, lots of sign, i`ll give em another week and get up a bit higher

Tried to get out but had to shovel the fresh snow first.

Cut the lawn three times already, was at the cabin and no sign of any bears, hardly any snow left too.. ( Loon Lake)... hopefully you guys get out of your deep freeze
