Vortex Razor hd spotter 27-60×85

Gf wants a spotter and looking at the vortex razor hd 27-60×85. Anybody have one of these and have some feedback?

They are okay. My hunting partner has one. Its the second as he had to return the first due to a black spot inside the glass. I have used the 48x and the 60x both good scopes. Just make sure you dont get a lemon.

I have one of the older model Razor HD's. Love it

Mines good can count rings on sheep at 6-700 yards first model 5 years old I think. Friend got a new one this last hunting season seems a fair bit brighter/clearer

She wants it so she can see her targets when she shoots 300 yards.

I’ve got the razor 11-33 x 50 and it’s very crisp. I really like it. Not super bright though. The one you’re referring to should be fantastic.

My opinion, it would be overkill for 300 yard targets. So, in other words...just perfect for your gal.

My brother has both the viper and the razor and not a lot of difference optically it is more cosmetics and functionality

She upgraded to the razor 27-60×85 its pretty nice.
