Monte Lake Area [Archive]

Can anyone shed some light on the Monte Lake area near Kamloops as far as if this is a good mulie and whitetail area? Also when does the rut happen for mulies. I've got some family friends there who invited me up to hunt their land. Haven't been there before and just wondering what kind deer population is in that general area. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Rut happens the same time as the rut for the rest of the mule deer elsewhere. The deer population does not appear to be near the numbers it was several years ago. It's 50/50 on whether you see whitetail or mule deer so you buy both tags.
