2018/19 Licenses and Tags

Just a heads up that the 2018/19 (Upcoming Season) hunting licenses and tags are available online. Order early to make sure you receive them in time for bear season! My gfs bear tag never showed up last year when she ordered online and she had to go through the ringer twice at the local Front Counter/Service BC office to get the old one refunded and then a new one issued and I've heard of others with similar issues so don't leave it till last minute. That being said I ordered mine Monday this week and received them yesterday. Just make sure you select the 2018/19 upcoming season (yes, actually says that) in the drop down menu!

Totally shocked this year. Firearms renewal arrived 9 days after application. Species licenses arrive 4 days after ordering. Hopefully this is a sign that the new online systems are getting quicker and more efficient.

Why you don't get tags and L in the mail sometimes maybe because of people against hunting ???

I will just stick to getting my tags and license from service BC that way I have them in my hand right away no stress about when or if they will arrive

Just bought mine today at Service BC here in Quesnel after reading a post about bear hunting stories it got me all fired up, mind you we are a long ways away from hunting them any where around here with all the snow

Canadian Tire is no longer selling them. Army & Navy does not have them and no ETA as to when they will have them. Sour deal for us Langley folks.

We purchased our license and order tags online yesterday rather than taking a day off to hit Service BC or hour long round trip trip to Cabela's during the evening (though I haven't checked to see if they have them either)

Hopefully the tags will show up in a timely manner. It sounds like most are reporting very good good turn-around times. And now I have a reason to look forward to checking the mail :)

If the rumours are true and they put reg 3, 5 & 8 on a 1 deer limit there might be some pissed off people who purchased 2/3 tags to start before the updated regs came out .....

Yea, people would be smart to hold off buying tags for fall hunting season until the new regs come out...

I don’t plan on seeing the new regulations until early June, but I would have to say we will still have a 3 deer limit... mule deer.... whitetail deer ... and of course the blacktail deer ... most interior areas hold some whitetails... never had any issues last year buying tags over the counter for these species... I did hear the sheep tags where hard to find.... I have my license and bear tag already purchased over the counter... will have to wait and see what the new regs bring

I purchased my 2018 licence and bear tag online on last Sunday night. Tag was in my mail box today. No complaints. Saw the same sort of turnaround last year.

Ordered our licenses and tags on Tues. evening, took no more than 5 mins., ........delivered by Can. Post to our door before noon on Friday.
2 1/2 days, doesn't get any better than that.
