You are welcome to attend this special meeting of the Sport Fishing Advisory Committee to learn
about the proposal and how measures would effect sport fishing opportunity and recreational boating
behaviour around southern Vancouver Island, Georgia Strait and the mouth of the Fraser River.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has proposed measures to aid in the recovery of endangered
Southern Resident Killer Whales (SRKW).
Public comment on those proposals is open until March 15.
