Can a person order ammunition from a Canadian Distributor and have it shipped by courier to Nelson B.C. :?::?:

I believe so, I think there are some couriers that won't - I know CanPar is one that will for my area.

Why not ask the distributor directly as he will have the final say anyway.

Distributors don't sell direct to customers, but dealers do. Purolator, Canpar, Loomis, DHL, will transport ammunition. Depending on where you live, they may deliver to your address, or to a pickup depot nearby (or not so nearby for some)

You can even get it shipped to your place by Canada Post, no problem...if the shipment starts out with UPS and you're anywhere
out of a city.

I just picked up a package from Cabela's today with ammo. They ship using UPS, and besides UPS being a bunch of rejects, there's no problem just because it's ammo.

Does have the little sticker on the box to indicate 'dangerous goods'.
