So, you shoot your bear, grind it into hamburger, make patties, cook it on the BBQ until it has no redness left. Probably 5-6 minutes per side. Was the internal temperature up to 165F? For long enough?

So long as it's not still overly pink in the middle you will be fine. I'm now starting to eat my steaks rare and have no issues. As with all game, don't over cook it!!
