We did not get drawn for a moose this year so my brother-in-law and I were thinking of combining some deer hunting with the opportunity to look for an immature bull moose.
His parents live outside of Kamloops on Pinitan Lake which I believe is 3-27. His parents have seen a lot of moose lately but if I recall a lot of that is native land. Are there any good opportunities in that area where we might run into an immature? I know its like finding a needle in a haystack but I don't mind looking.
Another option is heading to Salmon Arm to see my friends uncle, I don't know that area at all or what it holds for moose.
Does anyone have any idea's comments, hints?
I will be spending just over a week in 5-02 to get a deer but wouldn't mind 3 or 4 days in one of these area's with a chance to bag a moose.
