Is it an alligator gar?

I'm thinking that the snout is to broad but I've never seen one that size... I know that they do get big,,, REAL BIG!

six footers are fairly common around here, but I have never seen any much bigger. I have caught several on hook and line but never shot at any with a bow. usually we will tie a piece of 3/8 in. dia. nylon rope to a salt water bbl swivel and fray the rope with an old hair brush the fibers will snag the gars teeth and then you got him. we also use rooster tails but their mouth is so hard you'll only set the hook once out of five hits.
