Thanks Matt for posting those pictures for me.

I just received the wolf from the taxidermist today Stephen Rutherford Wildlife Designs. He did such a great job on the wolf I am really happy.
And to just think I was just going to get it tanned and hang it up on a hook on the wall. I am glad my boyfriend talked me into getting a rug done.
It is going to go up on the wall just laying it out on the floor for now.

Some of you may remember I posted the story a few years ago.
The wolf I shot sept 2016 we were looking for deer and going up a road and a pack of wolves were coming down the road about 6 0r 7 wolves. I have totally always wanted to shoot a wolf. I wanted a black one and there was a few black ones in the pack and I wanted one of them then the wolf at the back of the pack starting sneaking from the back of the pack to the front of the pack and I thought you want me no I am going to shoot you.
The other wolves stopped then the sneaking wolf kept coming he stopped then I shot him. With a browning 300 wsm. 1 shot.
Walked up the wolf. I shot it at about 36 steps away from me. I measured it out later.
I was not scared at all. I was a adrenaline rush for sure.
So if some of you are thinking should I shoot a wolf hell yes for sure if you have a chance.

I didn't take to many field pictures I kept thinking it may have lice or something. It didn't.

Thank you for all the nice replies and yes the wolf was a pretty good size I think. As I have never seen a wolf up close before. I had my boyfriend hold it up after I shot it and he is 6 foot tall and the wolves tail was dangling on the ground.

Yes the taxidermist Stephen did a great job really pleased with the results. Even took great care in shipping it in a box to send it to me. Top notch guy.
